 About BarreConcept

With the New Year, New You fitness campaigns already starting, I would like to introduce you to BarreConcept - the hottest new workout spreading the globe. Barre training is huge in America, made popular by celebrities, including Madonna, Kelly Osbourne, Drew Barrymore and Natalie Portman.

Barre combines the precision of Pilates with the technique of ballet, the alignment of yoga and the strength from sports conditioning. The combined elements of the different methods fuse to form a challenging and exciting workout, which stretches and sculpts the muscles, whilst burning fat.

BarreConcept is the only internationally accredited Barre training course in the world.

I am one of the first qualified BarreConcept instructors in South West London.

I run private lessons and group classes in this method.

UK creator of the method, Emma Newham, shares her views on this tough workout on the media section with TV appearances, radio interviews and press coverage.

Please see our current You Tube clip, with over a million views is now the top barre workout clip on You Tube.

Please find attached a press release for more information on this workout. If you would like more information, please don't hesitate to contact me.

BarreConcept is a creative 60 minute workout, which combines the precision of Pilates, alignment of yoga and the grace and technique of ballet. Add to this the strength from sports conditioning and you have all the elements of a typical BarreConcept session.

The BarreConcept Formula

This unique programme is designed to tone the thighs, lift the butt, sculpt the arms and flatten the abdominals. Full range muscular contractions are performed, followed by end range isometric contractions and then a static hold in order to fatigue the muscle. Stretches follow directly afterwards in order to elongate the muscles, creating that long, lean physique. Equipment such as balls, weights and bands are added to the class to challenge the body further.
